Then look at this report from the House Clerk’s site. What two questions would you ask (and answer) from that information? What other sources, or changes to the file itself, would you need to make it more useful? Build a spreadsheet with what you think are the most useful pieces of information, using 2 rows of data. Send me the spreadsheet.

Download this file of administrative fines from the Federal Election Commission. What’s the smallest amount (greater than $0) that a committee was fined? The “L” column represents whether the fine was paid – how many fines greater than $10,000 were not paid?
